Sample Notes: Sample Prep: 50µL of 100µg/mL hormone mix in methanol is reacted with 50µL of 2% methoxyamine in pyridine @ 60ºC for 30 minutes. Reaction mixture is evaporated to dryness under nitrogen at room temp and reconstituted in BSTFA. The BSTFA mixture is reacted at 70ºC for 30 minutes and then injected into GCMS.
Note: There is slight peak splitting of testosterone due to isomerization of the oxime-TMS derivative. |
