Analytes were extracted from powdered milk and derivatized by BSTFA. Chromatograms are extracted ions of quantitation ions of Melamine (342) and Cyanuric Acid (345). Injection was pulsed splitless at 12 psi for 0.25 min.

Load 1.00 mL Sample diluted in Acetonitrile:Water

Wash 1

1 mL Acetonitrile:Water (50/50); 2 aliquots of 500 uL at 1.0 mL/min

Wash 2

0.5 mL Methanol:Water (50/50) at 1.0 mL/min

Elution 1

1.5 mL 5% Ammonium Hydroxide in Methanol (2 aliquots of 750 uL) at 1.0 mL/min

Evaporation

Evaporate to dryness

Reconstitute

1 µL 90/10 : ACN/100mM ammonium formate, pH 3.2
