a. Measure out 1g of the chili powder and place into a 50mL Centrifuge tube. b. Add 10 mL of water followed by 15 mL of Acetonitrile. c. Cap and shake well for 30 seconds d. Place the tube into a centrifuge and spin at 3600RPM for 10 minutes. e. Take 1.5mL of the supernatant and place into a separate vial as the Final Samples for Analysis
