This technical note demonstrates the successful separation of protein pump inhibitors (PPI) Omeprazole, Lansoprazole, Rabeprazole, and Pantoprazole using Lux polysaccharide-based columns. These chiral separations indicate the potential to prepare enantiomerically pure forms of racemic active ingredients Pantoprazole (Protonix) and Rabeprazole (AcipHex) using chiral chromatography.
