Ph.Eur. Monograph 0721: Ibuprofen Related Substances on Fully Porous and Core-Shell Organo-silica HPLC Columns
In this application note, the separation achieved using three different C18 organo-silica based HPLC columns was compared for the analysis of Ibuprofen related substances according to the European Pharmacopeia (Ph.Eur.) monograph 0721. Relative to the original column used (Waters XTerra MS C18) in the Ph.Eur. monograph for Ibuprofen, the Gemini C18 column gave improved peak shape and separation, and the Kinetex EVO C18 column gave a faster run time.
