Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE) vs. Novum Simplified Liquid Extraction (SLE) Case Study: Analysis of Monomeric Phenolic Fermentation Inhibitors in Dilute-Acid Plant Hydrolysis
This case study compares a lengthy 4 step liquid-liquid extraction process to cleanup using Novum Simplified Liquid Extraction (SLE) 96-well plates. Compared to the conventional LLE protocol, SLE resulted in a five-fold decrease in sample preparation time and greatly reduced the amount of required pipetting and vial handling steps.
