Phenomenex to Present Fast LC Workshop at Pittcon

Speakers to Include Scientific Researchers from Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical Industry


Torrance, CA (December 11, 2008) – Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of separation science consumables, will present a workshop, “A Critical Analysis of Fast LC Technologies,” at the 2009 Pittsburgh Conference in Chicago. The session is scheduled for 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 11 in Room S404d at McCormick Place.


Speakers include Todd Maloney of Eli Lilly, Jennifer Cunliffe of Schering-Plough and Charles Rod Mcilwrick of Merck KGaA, and Jessica Jarman of SABIC Innovative Plastics, as well as Jason Anspach and Michael McGinley of Phenomenex.


This timely workshop will cover a comparison of current Fast LC technologies, a discussion of applications in polycarbonate resin analysis and pharmaceutical method development. Analyses of fused-core silica versus particulate media and the use of monolithic columns in Fast LC will also be presented.
