Phenomenex Italy Bingo Event Supports the Physically Disabled in Africa
Torrance, CA (November 15, 2011) – Phenomenex, a global leader in the research and manufacture of separation science consumables, announced that Phenomenex employees in the Italian office, along with friends, family and the Phenomenex CEO, organized a bingo event to raise funds for the physically disabled.
With the company’s full support, employees devoted work hours to playing bingo, bonding as a team, and supporting Nyumba-Ali ONLUS, located in Iringa, Tanzania, a non-profit organization that supports a diverse array of programs for physically disabled girls in Africa, including shelters and physical therapy.
Employee donations were tripled by Phenomenex, SRL-Italy. and used to purchase school supplies, clothes and other necessities to be shipped to Iringa, Tanzania.
