New Zebron ZB-XLB Low Polarity GC Columns Provide Stable GC Analysis

Torrance, CA (October 1, 2007) – Phenomenex Inc., a leading worldwide manufacturer of separation science consumables, introduces Zebron™ ZB-XLB – a unique, low-polarity si-arylene GC column. Engineered specifically for bleed-sensitive detectors such as mass spectrometers, these new columns are ideal for resolving complex samples and identifying unknown contaminants. This latest addition to the company’s successful Zebron column line provides alternative selectivity to standard 5-type phases. The new column delivers enhanced resolution of a range of compounds including polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), pesticides and herbicides.

Phenomenex’s Zebron GC column line is produced under the most stringent specifications in the industry ensuring consistent column-to-column performance. In addition, each column is individually QC tested.

“These columns are designed to provide better resolution and lower bleed levels than other commercially available XLB products,” commented Ngoc Nguyen, brand manager for Phenomenex. “The Zebron line has a ten-year track record of success, and these columns are sure to be recognized as another one of our high-quality GC offerings.”
