Phenomenex Invites Area Charities to Philanthropy Fair

February 7 Event Will Link Local Business, Community and Employees with Humanitarian Projects

Torrance, CA (February 4, 2008) – Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of separation science consumables, announced today that it is hosting a Philanthropy Fair at its Torrance headquarters this Thursday, February 7. Designed to encourage cooperation between the community, the company’s 500 employees and area charities, this event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Companies in the entire Torrance Technology Park and their employees have also been invited to attend.

Every Phenomenex employee is entitled to a full day off with pay each year to work in support of a humanitarian event. The company’s Philanthropy Group supports company-wide humanitarian activities in addition to helping individual employees connect with causes that match their interests. This supports the company’s mission to promote the prosperity of those it serves- customers, employees and humanity.
