Phenomenex to Organize Torrance Volunteers to Produce 100,000 Life-saving Meals

Torrance, CA (June 10, 2010) – Phenomenex, a global leader in the research and manufacture of separation science consumables, announced that next month hundreds of Phenomenex employees, along with friends, family and community members, will work to feed thousands of starving children in the developing world. Through a partnership with Minnesota-based Feed My Starving Children, volunteers will prepare 100,000 life-saving meals. The event will take place Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17, at Phenomenex (570 Madrid Ave, Torrance).


Community members of all ages are invited to participate.

Friday July 16

  • 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • 3:30pm - 5:30pm
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday July 17

  • 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • 3:30pm - 5:30pm
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit organization committed to feeding starving children. The approach is simple: children and adults hand pack meals designed specially for starving children, and FMSC ships the meals to more than 60 countries around the world.
