Phenomenex Founder & CEO Fasha Mahjoor Invited to Buckingham Palace

Torrance, CA (November 23, 2011) – Fasha Mahjoor, managing director of Phenomenex Ltd, UK and founder and CEO of Phenomenex, a global leader in the separation sciences, has been invited to dinner at Buckingham Palace next month for the 90th birthday celebration of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, in support of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and The Outward Bound Trust–two charities he champions.

When asked what prompted the invitation, Mr. Mahjoor replied, “The invitation was sent to 150 directors of British companies and individuals active in philanthropic causes. It is a privilege to have been invited and an honour to be amongst similarly-minded distinguished guests, in support of charitable causes both in Britain and elsewhere.”

Kali Kullberg, leader of the philanthropy committee at Phenomenex, said, “Fasha is not only a driven, successful entrepreneur who demands perfection in everything, he also has a heart of gold and loves to give back.” Kullberg added, “His boundless energy is infectious. Almost every week one of the global Phenomenex companies is involved with some type of humanitarian cause, from disaster relief to rebuilding homes to educating local students.”

Phenomenex employs several past participants of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award including Ben Johnson, Technical Consultant at Phenomenex Ltd, who praised the program stating, “I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to participate and use my talents as part of my volunteer work. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing somebody else learn life-improving skills.”

Amongst other distinguished planned guests include His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, and His Royal Highness Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex.
