Phenomenex Saves Lives by Supporting Community Blood Supply

TORRANCE, CA (September 28, 2011) The American Red Cross has recently faced critically low levels of blood reserve levels due to recent flooding, hurricanes, and severe weather across the country,. Last month, the devoted employees of Phenomenex came together to help alleviate this shortage by organizing an on-site blood drive. In providing the facility, the promotional resources and employee time to volunteer and give blood, we exceeded the Red Cross’ drive goal and potentially saved 132 lives with the units collected.

Phenomenex is proud to be a longtime partner of the American Red Cross, being a past recipient of the American Red Cross Platinum Special Recognition Award, which recognizes organizations for longstanding and year-over-year excellence in donation levels.
