Phenomenex Blood Drive Saves 120 Lives

Torrance, CA (February 09, 2012) – Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the research and manufacture of advanced technologies for the separation sciences, continued its ongoing support to the American Red Cross by hosting another quarterly Blood Drive at Phenomenex headquarters.

Phenomenex employees showed their support by donating nearly 50 units of blood. Turnout was so overwhelming that the Red Cross was required to defer some of the 75 donors to the next quarterly blood drive.

Phenomenex has been a proud supporter of the American Red Cross for over 10 years by providing financial support as well as organizing quarterly employee blood drives. “The quarterly blood drive is one of the many philanthropic events held as part of Phenomenex ongoing commitment to promote the well-being of humanity and give back to our community,” said Fasha Mahjoor, president of Phenomenex.
