LogP, dissolution, pKa, interactions with stationary phase, and separation modes
Part 2 – Column Dimensions
Column ID, length, particle size, hardware, and limitations
Part 3 – Stationary Phase
Selectivity, interactions, and special phases (high pH, polymer, aqueous stable)
Part 4 – Mobile Phase
Selectivities of organics, buffer selection (pH), and gradient slope
Part 5 – Other Parameters
Flow rate, temperature, connections, injection programs, and sample diluent
Key Learning Objectives:
- Understand how to select column stationary phase for LC analysis, and how to choose mobile phase to get better resolution
- Learn different separation modes used in Liquid Chromatography
