Evaluation of Newer HPLC/UHPLC Technologies for the Analysis of Steroids (TN-1097)
This study evaluates the performance of five different HPLC/UHPLC columns used to quantitatively screen steroids using HPLC/UV. The goal of the study was to dramatically reduce conventional analysis times while maintaining baseline resolution between nine steroids. This work resulted in a method that provided run times of under 6 minutes and excellent separation of nine steroids, all of which can be attributed to the technology behind the Kinetex 2.6 µm XB-C18 core-shell HPLC/UHPLC technology.
