Phenomenex Introduces NEW SINGLE GC Solution for Dioxin Analysis
Torrance, Calif. (February 19, 2021) – Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the research and manufacture of advanced technologies for the separation sciences introduces Zebron™ ZB-Dioxin . Zebron ZB-Dioxin joins Phenomenex’s large family of GC unlimited Phase to deliver optimal performance when analyzing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and Dioxins regulated such as 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo- para-dioxin (2,3,7,8-TCDD) and 2,3,7,8 tetrachlorodibenzo- para-furan(TCDF).
EPA-1613 and EPA-8290 Dioxin methods requires two GC columns, 5% phenyl and 225 GC columns (one for testing and one for confirmation) on two GC-HRMS instruments. The new Zebron ZB-Dixon exceeds EPA Dioxin method requirement by providing enhanced resolution for all Dioxin isomers using one GC column and single HRMS instrument.
Zebron ZB-Dioxin provides a single column Dioxin solution, reducing instrument down-time by 50%. This improves lab productivity, provides better sensitivity and offers greater resolution for the analysis of dioxins.
