Resiliency of Larger Particle Sizes to Systems of Differing Dwell Volume in SEC using Biozen dSEC 2 Column
To illustrate the ability of larger particle sizes to accommodate different dwell volumes, a sample of Cetuximab was run with a Biozen 3 µm dSEC-2 LC column on two HPLC Systems. Although there is a small discrepancy in aggregate recovery, resolution between the Monomer and Dimer is 2.35 for UHPLC and 2.47 for HPLC, while resolution between the Dimer and Fragment 1 is 1.64 for both. The comparable results of Cetuximab on the two systems, shows the robustness of the larger particle size of the Biozen 3 µm dSEC-2 LC column in SEC.
